THE DESIGN PROCESS
whats involved
At Carre Jewellery Studio we offer a custom design service for a new piece or re-designing your old pieces. First we book in a appointment to discuss design ideas - you can bring in images or sketches or just an idea such as 'big, modern and chunky' or 'fine, feminine and delicate'
From there we discuss materials to be used and source gems or diamonds to be viewed, provide rough sketch ideas and provide prices accordingly.
A deposit is required before formal sketches are drawn, CAD images can also be provided for greater visual clarity, and alterations can be made.
For certain jobs such as wedding rigs or for those who require it a wax model can also be provided.
Once the designs are approved the piece is made!
On average the process takes between 3-6 weeks, however we try to accommodate urgent timelines where possible.
